Paying using Ozow

1. Paying via a Payment link received on SMS or Email

In the scenario where you have a balance at a retailer or financial institution, they may contact you via sms to advise that you can make payment directly from your phone in the comfort of your home and do not need to go to the store to pay. This sms will contain a payment link and would typically look as follows:

Once you click on the link, you will be taken to the first screen on the left below; from which point you will follow the prompts to complete payment via your internet banking account.


2. Paying online via eCommerce website

Once you have filled your basket or confirmed your purchase at your favourite online merchant, you will have an option to checkout by paying with Ozow. This screen could vary between merchants, but would typically look as follows:

Once you click on EFT with Ozow, you will be taken to the first screen on the left below; from which point you will follow the prompts to complete payment via your internet banking account.


3. Paying via a QR Code

You could be presented with a QR code at Point of Sale when you go to the till to pay, or when a delivery service is being provided and you can scan the QR Code presented by the courier.

Once you have scanned the QR Code, you will be taken to the first screen on the left below; from which point you will follow the prompts to complete payment via your internet banking account. You will have the option to either scan the reference bar code which is known as a static QR Code or you can enter your preferred reference and amount known as a variable QR Code.


4. Paying via E-billing

In the scenario where you have a balance at a retailer or financial institution, the merchant can send you an e-bill which will contain a link or “pay now” button.

Once you click on the “pay now” button or URL in the email, you will be taken to the first screen on the left below; from which point you will follow the prompts to complete payment via your internet banking account.
